Allison is an excellent trainer. She makes sure to tailor workouts according to my fitness goals, explains the benefits of the exercises we’re doing, and consistently shows me new exercises. She’s a wonderful person who cares about her clients personally, and cares about doing a great job. I’ve worked with her for several years and since starting with her, I have seen an increase in my short and long-term endurance, as well as much better core strength for balance and focus. My body feels toned and strong and I’ve gained a much more positive outlook in general.
I have been training with Allison once or twice weekly for over 10 years. She is kind and caring as well as very knowledgeable, and an especially good choice for vegetarians and vegans like me. I am far stronger, fitter and healthier today than I was 10 years ago thanks to her. A++

About me

Hi! I'm a native Californian who grew up in a health-conscious family. From a young age I've always loved playing sports and experimenting in the kitchen to make recipes healthier, but still tasty. I attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where I played collegiate level soccer, and received a BS in Broadcast TV Journalism.

I started my own Wellness Business in 2006 as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and an AFPA Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant.

Through my career in personal training, and five years working in a physical therapy clinic, I've developed a unique arsenal of exercise specializations and knowledge working with a variety of demographics, including (but not limited to): injury rehabilitation, prenatal & postnatal training, and youth exercise training.

My nutrition experience includes teaching nutrition classes to underprivileged, obese teens, consulting on infomercials for fitness products, customizing meal plans and lifestyle strategies for both individuals and groups, and hosting live cooking demos to teach healthier kitchen strategies.

I continue to expand my business onto a larger platform by combining my passions for TV/Media Hosting and Health Coaching. I've been featured on several health, cooking, and nutrition segments on the local LA news stations KTLA 5 and KCAL 9.

I love hosting live cooking events, health seminars, wellness videos, and blogs to bring education and clarity to the latest trends in health and wellness.

My Philosophy of Care

Studying health and wellness has been a fascination of mine since I was a young girl. I've always thrived helping others achieve their goals, and that combined with my passion for healthy living, made becoming a Health & Wellness Coach a natural transition out of college.

My practice has evolved over the last 15 years (and I like to think I have, too). I believe that a holistic approach to achieving overall wellness is the most effective and sustainable path to success.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

I aim to make my clients feel like they are in a nonjudgemental space, and design a program that tailors to their specific body, lifestyle, and health goals.
My goal is that my clients leave every session feeling like they've been heard and understood, as well as mentally, physically, and emotionally elevated. I believe in positive reinforcement/ encouragement and listening to your body, so that each session we are meeting you where are on that particular day.

My Inspiration

I believe we are born Healers, it's just a matter of actualizing it. For me, I've always known what I'm passionate about (health, wellness, nutrition, fitness), and I've always been pretty attuned to what other need (whether it's an injury that needs rehabilitation or an emotional moment that needs support). But, it wasn't until I started my own "healing journey", that I realized that I'm already helping others heal themselves!
