I had migraine headaches for about 6 years. They would be as frequent as 3 per week. Becky and I worked together through hypnosis and self hypnosis to relieve the headaches and now they are gone! It did not happen overnight, but I have real results and have been headache free for 7 months and counting. Becky is caring and is a great listener. She tailors each session to the individual client. I will always be grateful that I found Becky and for her hypnotherapy skills.

About me

I am passionate about helping my clients tap into their own inner resources to create change and self-healing. I believe the subconscious mind is all powerful and drives our behavior and physical health. I guide people into their subconscious minds to discover limiting programs and beliefs. Then, help them rewrite or reprogram more positive beliefs and , therefore,
more positive behaviors and health. I like to empower my clients to take charge of their health through self-hypnosis. I also try to provide tools that my clients can use on their own. I have over 500 hours of training in hypnotherapy and continue to add to this.

My Philosophy of Care

Ericksonian hypnosis with Neuro-linguistic programming is the technique I use. I believe specific language is critical to working with the subconscious mind. I also believe that no matter what you are intending to achieve addressing your individual circumstances and needs is critical to your success. One size does not fit all! I work as a co-therapist and expect my clients to come prepared to fully participate by having a clear intention of what they want to achieve.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

Most people are extremely relaxed following a hypnosis session. Even those who say they don't believe they can be hypnotized are surprised at how easy and how deeply relaxed they become. During a first session you will be hypnotized at least twice. I usually begin with suggestions for a simple goal. The script for the session will be recorded and sent to you so you can practice self-hypnosis.

My Inspiration

I worked in a psychiatric facility for 10 years and watched many adolescents spend hours in talk therapy with little to no change. I wanted to offer something that would allow others to become empowered to change their lives and find peace and health. My belief that the subconscious mind is all powerful is the inspiration for my work.

Questions & Answers
Becky Johnson, MS, CMS-CHT, FIBH Answers
HI Tyler, I practice hypnotherapy with NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). Neuro-linguistic offers a trauma reversal protocol that is rapid and effective. With that being said, it is advisable to do additional follow up work. Another NLP strategy is called a resource state. Here we 'anchor' a resource state and transform your past experiences on your timeline. This is all done in hypnosis and is also very effective. NLP practitioners are also hypnotherapists as most NLP strategies work with hypnosis. I suggest you look for someone who is a master NLP practitioner. I also use a regression protocol with hypnosis that will take a client back to the original cause of the emotion or limiting belief associated with the trauma and allows processing of the significant event. This protocol also includes the timeline exercise at the end.

I believe all of the answers below are good feedback. In addition it is critical to understand that repetition is an important part of changing the programming in the subconscious mind. I always give homework, usually listening to the suggestions from the session daily. Hypnosis is not generally a one and done process if you expect lasting change. Don't give up, there are very people who cannot benefit from hypnotherapy.
