David is a highly competent professional who is really great at helping remove stubborn pain spots. I have been going to him several years and will continue to do so.
I am happy to have found David. He can tailor your massage as you like. My reason for using David is his professionalism and techniques but also just shameless indulgence. What a treat! I also recommend, which I did, giving a gift certificate to friends or relatives - you know the ones that are impossible to buy for.
Located in the Good Works Loft space on 14th Street just west of The Connector, iRelax Atlanta is a cozy, private massage studio convenient to most of Atlanta. There's tons of free parking available and getting in and out was a breeze. The space is well designed for comfort and relaxation. David is well versed in various massage techniques and can help with stress relief, muscle pain, or fatigue. He uses a good amount of pressure to release tension without it being too much. The sanitation procedures are quite thorough and I genuinely felt safe. Whether you're looking to find relief from the strain of your at-home work setup or looking to relieve the strain of a race or workout, iRelax Atlanta is the place to go!

About me

David graduated from Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health in 2002. He has worked in high end spas and has been doing corporate chair massage for over 10 years. He currently focuses on a therapeutic/relaxation style massages that focus on areas that the client needs in order to alleviate their problem areas. Though David has been practicing for 18 years, he officially started iRelax Atlanta Massage LLC as it's own business in 2019.

My Inspiration

I became a wellness professional because I really enjoy helping people feel better. I recognize that many jobs that are performed today take a toll on people's bodies. They need relief to help them function better throughout the day.

I've been researching (meaning trying, spending money, getting frustrated) massage therapists in Atlanta for 4 years, and started to erroneously think that this town totally lacked the kind of excellent massage THERAPY that I was used to in NYC. Until I found David. OMG, from the first 10min I started praying that this guy never leaves Atlanta. I've know been his client for about 1 yr. His neuromuscular massage is absolute top-notch and at par the best spas in New York, Paris, Índia... I have bad sciatica shooting pain, and now a shoulder bursitis that neither an orthopedic nor a physical therapy helped; yet, a 60-90min with David leaves me so relieved from pain, discomfort, and incredibly relaxed and stretched. I confess I'm not the typical massage lover, and also dislike the usual 'feel-good-only' massage that smells good but is cookie-cutter. David's massage is truly therapeutical, completely customized to my muscles (yes, muscles, not 'body' as each my body "pieces" need different work). His technique is deep - real deep - tissue, strong yet gentle and soothing slow strokes that he works on a muscle until whatever knot of gone. He will find spots that really hurts like hell, then work them strongly but gently until the pain disappears - all without talking,it's like his hands and my muscles have a dialogue :) It's incredible. I always leave his sessions with an immense gratitude towards my body, feeling that I just had the most restorable yoga session, coupled with aromatherapy, an effective physical therapy, and a stretch meditation that lasts for days. What's most remarkable is that the effects of the amazing massage lingers on for days (versus those 'Spa Sydell/Bliss Spa types that you forget you had them the most you drive off the building. If you like real deep tissue massage and believe that it should be more than just a 'feel good pampering' but have real benefits, you may want to become a monthly client!
David is is a great massage therapist. His studio is calm and relaxing and in a great location. His skilled hands were able to relieve neck tension I'd been carrying for months.
