After leaving an abusive marriage of 9 years, I thought I had emerged unscathed. However, six months later, my hairdresser noticed excessive hair loss and urged me to seek medical attention. I was diagnosed with PTSD resulting from the mental and sexual abuse I had endured. Refusing prescribed medication due to sensitivities, I found myself lost in a dark tunnel, facing two crucial options: succumb to the darkness or dive deep into recovery. I chose the latter.
Six years later, I am completely healed from PTSD.
