I was born and raised in New Prague, MN. I received a volleyball scholarship out of high school and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to complete my undergraduate education in athletic training. I have been a lifelong athlete, & my career goal is to help others stay active through injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. I put my sports medicine skills to use after graduation as a member of the athletic training staff at my alma mater, Duquesne University. Throughout my time at Duquesne, I've enjoyed working with athletes on the volleyball, soccer, lacrosse and track & field teams. I am now passionate about helping anyone and everyone from infants to seniors live a more joyful, happy, and fulfilling life free from needless pain.
I strongly believe that a single chiropractic adjustment to the correct bone at the correct time can change a life. Through a thorough and objective chiropractic approach called the Pierce Results System, I am able to be very specific and efficient with every adjustment. This system includes a thermography scan, revealing the activity of the nervous system, structural X-Rays, showing spinal position, and video X-Rays, highlighting exactly which joints are not moving correctly in real time.
Your first time at Cadence is focused on learning. I'll show you around the office and explain each of the assessment tools in detail. Then we'll sit down so I can learn about your wellness challenges and goals. After we perform the objective assessments and discuss my findings along the way, we'll get the healing started with your first adjustment. On a second day, we'll review all of my findings and recommendations to create a plan together on how to start bringing motion back to your life.
A strong love for sports and a passion for helping people originally brought me to school for Athletic Training. After working with athletes for a few years, I suffered my own injury that left me unable to walk without pain for 6 months. I truly thought I'd never function normally again. Chiropractic returned to me what I thought was lost and gave me an entirely new perspective on life and wellness. I immediately knew I was meant to help others restore and maintain health through Chiropractic.
