Amy Naber is an extraordinary and gifted practitioner. She is fully present and can hold space for deep transformative work. I have been working with her since 2013. Over this time period we have used the following integrative tools: restorative yoga to help heal trauma from surgery, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique - also known as Tapping) to help with anxiety and hypnotherapy to help me move forward in areas where I feel stuck. She is insightful, supportive and compassionate. I highly recommend her.
I was against yoga. I like a trail and a mountain to run. Open space, trees. Yoga = drive to a parking lot, bring a mat and go inside for an hour. Nope. Then came yoga with Amy! What a shift in my reality. Amy said in my first group class, “ Yoga changes live . . .” I believe her now after just a few months. I thought stretching was for waking up . . . OMGoodness. With the slow build to strength over time has changed so much in my body and my being. I am connected now, and realize for so many years I was not to my body. Yes please, more yoga with Amy.
Amy set a calm tone during a hospital stay I had with her Expanding Light Guided Meditation. Two months ago @ 57 years young, I was in the hospital for eight long days. While there, healing, I had my blood taken 6 times per day. Each time the nurse would pause, and I would put a few minutes of Amy’s calm, flowing voice on my phone to fill the room and reduce the stress I would have before her tape. Six times per day, as needles were jabbed and poked into me, I was soft and relaxed. Every nurse knew to wait, let me put Amy on before. I then booked an appointment for a zoom session with her to continue the relaxation and to have her voice guide me into further healing a deeper shift in my pain.
