Ana Alexander was born in Argentina. She immigrated to the USA in 2000. She began her Yoga training with Oledeysis Guttierrez in 2002 and started teaching Yoga in 2004. She completed her Massage Licensure and Certification training at Lindsay Hopkins in Miami in 2005 and then went on to complete an apprenticeship in Thai and Shiatsu Massage for an additional 2 years.
As a therapist she is trained and practices CranioSacral Therapy and as a Somato Emotional Release. She has trained as an apprentice with a traditional Oriental Medicine Doctor for a year during 2019.
Ana is also a second-degree Black Belt in Kung Fu and as a traditional martial artist in a living tradition she enjoys training people to help them reach their full potential physically, emotionally, and spiritually. She is also a certified Behavioral Therapist in the State of Florida. Ana is presently a COO for the Nityananda Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of those who visit the center. She is also a practicing Zen Buddhist and very involved in her Sangha: The International Zen Institute of Florida participating in intensive and retreats several times a year.
The body has inexhaustible wisdom. Being receptive to its knowledge will teach us how to heal any condition.
The introductory session is the most important as we make an assessment to later develop a care plan.
My whole life experiences seemed to have guided me to become and continue to grow as a healer.
