About me
At 13, I was diagnosed with Hoshimoto's Disease, a rare disease then and I was one of the youngest cases. My doctor told me I probably wouldn't see 40. Being a stubborn person, I began searching for natural healing modalities for my mind and body. I learned how my emotions impact my mind and my health. That day, with that prognosis, the searcher in me was born.
I taught high school for 15 years until my mind and body were breaking down. I was trapped by alcohol addiction and on 5 psychiatric medications just to fend off the panic attacks, sleeplessness and raging anger fits of my trauma.
