Learn More About Beverly Clarke

About me

Bev Clarke is a Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) in Arizona and she has twenty-five years of professional health care experience. Her intention has always been to work with people to optimize their health and wellness.
Her professional areas of education, training, and licensure are in the areas of massage therapy; Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology; CranioSacral Therapy; BSN/ Registered Nurse (NM) and Traditional Chinese Medicine. At this time, Bev has a focus on CranioSacral therapy and neuro-acupuncture. Neuro-Acupuncture is an advanced Traditional Chinese Medicine modality that is utilized with people in the rehabilitation of acute and chronic central nervous system disorders. As a small example, these include brain injuries, paralysis, Parkinson's disorder, tremors, MS, epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, anxiety, depression and trauma of any origin etc. It has also been found to be effective in strengthening the immune system and in the treatment of acute and chronic pain due to any origin.
In 1993, Bev began her training in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute. She was part of the first group of people who completed the CranioSacral Therapy Techniques Certification from the Upledger Institute. She has found this gentle and profound modality has the ability to facilitate deep healing. CranioSacral therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine offer people the opportunity to optimize their health and wellness.
Bev graduated her Bachelor of Nursing program Cum Laude. As an RN she was the team lead for a Health and Wellness program and one of five nurses that worked with three hundred people with serious and persistent mental illness in a community Behavioral Health program.
Bev has also been a hospice volunteer. In this role, she also provided some of the training for new volunteers.
Bev continuously broadens her knowledge and skills in response to her clients’ needs. Bev is a long time meditator and enjoys walking in nature.
Bev provides sessions of Acupuncture, CranioSacral Therapy or a combination of Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. She invites you to contact her if you feel her intention, training, and experience may be of benefit to you.
She looks forward to meeting you!

My Philosophy of Care

In my early life I was a teacher. So many of many students were frequently unwell and it was clear how this undermined their life. With this, I wanted to work with people to optimize their health and quality of life.

I also had an accident in my early 20s. The doctors said I would never walk more than a block or be pain free. This wasn't acceptable. And it began my own personal journey of healing. Within a year, I was pain free and hiking mountains. This added to my motivation to share and work with people to 'go beyond' and to work with people to heal and optimize their well-being!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

"After my car accident over a year ago, and after many visits to Western medicine doctors including ortho and neuro specialists/surgeons, and many visits to alternative med doctors including chiropractic and massage and laser and acupuncture,…I discovered neuro acupuncture and craniosacral from Bev Clarke. !! After just one treatment I was able to walk straighter, feel less pain on my entire left side, have more ease of movement and just feel better. Over the following days I realized I had gotten through the fog of depression as well. I’m looking forward to more healing and more “bendability” of my left knee with future treatments. THANK YOU, BEV!" (Lynn)
