I became interested in nutrition after my autoimmune diagnosis in 2016. I was told by the first doctor I saw that food doesn’t matter so changing my diet wouldn’t help me. I am glad to say he was quite wrong and I have been able to reduce my pain by 85% by diet alone.
My own diagnosis sparked an interest in learning about nutrition. At first it was just to learn and help my own body heal, but I soon realized that there are many hurting people who could benefit from modifying their diet.
Similar to having a coffee or tea with a friend. I am pretty easy to talk to and want to start helping you where you are with your diet right now.
It doesn’t have to be an all or nothing experience. For some people, cutting out all problematic foods cold turkey works well. But for many others, a gradual approach is better. You let me know what feels best for you and we start there.
