I'm a Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping my clients with digestive disorders and/or food sensitivities get to the root cause.
I originally earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University where I was also on the Cheer Team. I received my Master's degree in nutrition and food science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. A few years later I became a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) and a Certified Leap Therapist (CLT). Currently, I'm working toward a certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition.
I spent the first half of my career, in Sports Nutrition, where I had some amazing opportunities! I spent 6 seasons with San Francisco Giants who won World Series titles in 2012 and 2014. During that time I also worked with the U.S. Men's National soccer team and traveled with them to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Finals in Brazil. I have also worked with the Arizona Coyotes Hockey and Arizona Cardinals Football teams to help upgrade their nutrition, culinary, and supplementation deliverables. Also during this time, I was the Director of Performance Nutrition for a Performance Company, EXOS (formerly Athlete's Performance Inc). I not only worked with pro/elite athletes but also military, high-level executives, youth athletes, and worked heavily in our education department.
Now taking on a new venture I've found a deep desire to also incorporate integrative and functional nutrition strategies into my practice. I'm committed to helping individuals achieve their best health utilizing the most updated tools, technology, and research to do so. Therefore, whether you are seeking help with sports nutrition, injury rehab, digestive issues, or disease prevention I like to individually evaluate my clients and provide them with a well-researched and comprehensive plan they can follow to achieve their best self and health & wellness goals.
I had IBS as a teenager all through college until I met with a Registered Dietitian and started training for fitness competitions. My sleep improved, my stomach stopped giving me issues and my energy levels couldn't have gotten better. After that, I knew I wanted to pass on what I felt and learned.
Likes to take her time and ask a lot of questions.
