Growing up, I was sick quite often. I struggled with chronic ear infections, strep throat and colds. I was diagnosed with ADD, struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my childhood. In high school, I had some digestive issues, ovarian cysts and painful menstrual cramps. In 2004, I was involved in a car accident when a driver ran a red light and hit my driver side door. Since the accident, I not only struggled with daily headaches and migraines, but I also had trouble with increased anxiety, depression and mental clarity. I struggled to focus in school and worried every time I had to drive somewhere. Chiropractic found me in 2010. I met someone that shared with me about chiropractic and how it might help. I had what I consider a miracle story. After my first adjustment, my headaches were gone. Throughout my care, I noticed improvements in my digestion, I had less anxiety, I was sleeping better.... which I didn’t even realize was an issue! I felt like a new person. I ended up working with that chiropractor for 5 years before making the decision to go to school to become a chiropractor myself. My hope is to help people through chiropractic the way I was helped.
Chiropractic is a safe and effective way to maintain health and function in your body. My job is to analyze and correct vertebral subluxation. I do not diagnose or treat conditions other than subluxation. Vertebral Subluxation happens when your spine moves out of place, putting pressure on the nerves. This nerve pressure can cause interference with the central nervous system. Chiropractic focuses on removing interference from the central nervous system to allow proper functioning in the various systems of the body. If you have a spine, chiropractic is for you!
