About me
Helen Gitlevich was born and raised in Moscow, until her permanent move to the United States at the age of seventeen.
When still a small child, the death of her grandfather changed her life in many ways, one of them being her move from the gentler suburbs of Moscow to the inner city. There she experienced the unkindness of the city children she encountered, leaving behind the known safety and companionship of her previous existence. From that point on, Helen knew she wanted to help others in their struggles to overcome their limitations and fears.
