Hello Everyone! My name is Duran Torrez and I work as a Holistic Nutritionist & Health Coach specializing in stress management & elimination
I spent 7 years of my life working in public education as an 8th grade science teacher and Elementary School Assistant Principal. I earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Washington State University before switching my focus of teaching to Holistic Health & Wellness.

Everything in my life changed when I began to ask myself “How do I want to invest my precious and limited time?”. Through training, education, and LOTS of personal experience I have consciously chosen to invest my time in the service of others. Helping others raise their awareness, eliminate their stress, increase the health of their mind and body, and learn how to work with the mind and body so that they can experience life in the most joyful way possible is my mission.
My time is limited. As is yours. It’s time to work consciously, on purpose, with intention and creativity.
We experience life through our feelings...our feelings determine the quality of our lives...let’s consciously make our lives the most wonderful and joyful experience possible.
I was inspired to move from teaching 8th grade science to teaching about health and wellness 100% because of personal experience. Through my journey I have experienced feelings that I didn’t know existed and have learned to create those feelings ON PURPOSE, whenever I want. Once these experiences happened within me I knew in the depths of my soul that I was going to invest my time in this life helping people learn how to create these experiences within themselves.
Like being on the same wavelength with someone where the conversation flows effortlessly and everything just makes sense. Like this meeting was destined to happen.
Stress is like a water faucet...there is a source that regulates the flow of water (stress), there is the water (stress), and there is the feeling of getting soaked by the water (feelings of stress).
Most people try to manage stress and that is like holding your hands up and trying to block the water from getting you wet...not effective in the long term.
The key to truly eliminating stress is to...
1. Aid your body in eliminating stress chemicals with diet, exercise, and other techniques...AND
2. Finding the true source of your stress and turning it off.
If the true source of stress is never located and turned off people eventually get overwhelmed trying to keep the water (stress) from soaking them.
