I have been conscientious of health & wellness from a very young age. As a competitive athlete in high school and beyond, I learned that functioning optimally had many facets. Eager to learn, I began with a Bachelor's degree in Health Fitness, practiced as an independent personal trainer for seven years, and then went on to become a registered nurse practicing in integrative medicine from the get-go! I furthered my integrative education through becoming a Certified Integrative Nutritional Coach and more recently attained my Board Certification in Health and Wellness Coaching. Through all of these experiences I have gained valuable knowledge of the importance of integrative wellness. In today's world of fast-paced information overload, I understand that it can be difficult to sort through all of it. I am here to collaborate with my clients to implement sustainable, individualized plans with clear strategies (often the missing link to achieving goals). Whether you need to 'tweak' your current health and wellness regimen, or you are in need of an overhaul to transform your health, I am here to support you toward your goals.
My passion for health and wellness has driven me to where I am today! In today's world health and wellness there is a wealth of information that can be difficult to sort through. This leaves many of us feeling overloaded with great (and not-so-great) information, and without the strategies to implement a workable plan to achieve their wellness goals. Through my own experiences and expertise, I work to support clients who are often stuck in a regimen that often isn’t working any more. Collaborating with each client on an individual basis allows for clear plans and strategies to be implemented so each client can Be Great & Feel Well!
Our first interaction would be an initial free 20-30 minute consultation to make sure we are a good fit. The first appointment is approximately 2 hours long - during this session, we get to know one another, complete a thorough health and wellness history, and collaborate to establish goals and get supportive strategies in place to support those goals. I take great care to ensure the sessions are in a relaxed, private and positive format.
Health and Wellness Coaching is unique in that it is a client-centered process to support and empower each client to achieve self-determined goals related to the many aspects of health and wellness. I like to think of Health & Wellness Coaching as bridge that fills the gap between where you are now to where you would like to be!
