I began the path of yoga during a transitional time in my life. I had a window of change open up before me, and fortunately I was aware enough to see ahead of me and decide to spend that new time learning about who I was. I suspect you are also experiencing a window of transition in your life, which is what's brought you here. The more I learned the more I realized how there is no end point to this practice, it's a lifestyle and a lifelong one at that. I wanted to know these tools through all aspects of my being. I wanted to know them on paper, through travel, through food, through other people. I wanted them to become the predominant lens for how I looked at the world. So, I traveled to Nepal to experience the history of yoga by visiting ancient sites and taking part in 5,000 year old practices. The beauty of this practice was palpable and propelled me into my first teacher training with my dear Teacher Raj Patra. Thousands of hours later I have studied and practiced yoga, pranayama and meditation, both as a practitioner and a teacher. In 2018 I spent 5 months in Kerala, India where I received a Diploma in Ayurvedic Health Counseling, in addition to Integrated Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. While studying, I was also receiving Ayurvedic treatments and following an Ayurvedic lifestyle in it's entirety. This focused period of time brought tremendous clarity and uncovered a deeper purpose in my life. This purpose is to share the tools I have learned in a way that can be applied to your life practically. From building awareness to changing habits or creating new ones, uncovering your imbalances and restoring your health, we will work together to unlock the right toolkit for you.
I think it is in our nature to share the gifts we receive. The path of Yoga and Ayurveda has become the core framework with which I navigate my life, by providing me an effective and meaningful toolset. After hundreds of hours of trainings and self-study it became a natural evolution of the practice to share it with others who are seeking it.
Your first visit will begin with a brief meditation to bring connection and awareness to your body and mind. We will then move into a guided exploration where I will ask you questions. What differs greatly about this experience from other consultations, is that we will explore who you are and what your experience is across all layers of your being.
