I had been anxious most of my life. I didn't even realize how much this affected me until a medical provider said, "You're an adrenaline junkie, aren't you?" She was referring to the high level of stress hormones wrecking havoc on my organs.
I can coach you because I've been where you are. The racing thoughts, the tight chest, the closed throat–feelings that were an everyday occurrence have become a thing of the past for me. I've tried multiple practices to address stress and anxiety. My go-to ones are meditation, yoga, journaling, and nutrition.
