My name is Megan Gallagher, CRC, LMHC and I'm the founder of both Here to There Counseling for in-person/telehealth therapy as well as Here to There Wellness, which is more focused on coaching strategies and online learning opportunities. Together with the rest of the HTC team of clinicians and coaches, our entire mission in this life is to help people mine their own light, because, after all, that is truly what we are made of.
Amanda Rubio, LICSW, joined HTC in 2020. As a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and holistic health practitioner, Amanda seeks to help clients creatively explore mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of health. Amanda’s style is direct, compassionate, and accessible. When taking the next steps into self-discovery, one can ultimately find freedom from suffering & transform one’s life. Creating positive change begins by transcending the mechanics of our mind, conquering limiting beliefs, and challenging negative self-talk.
Amanda is a certified yoga instructor, clinical social worker, and holistic health counselor. She has been coaching clients into a healthier way of being for the past 20 years. She received her MSW from New York University in 1995, and in 2000, trained as a holistic health counselor at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC.
Amanda has extensive training in yoga and body/mind based therapeutic modalities. In 2009, Amanda founded Yogis Feed the Hungry, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
Long before I was a licensed therapist, I was always the one that my friends would come to for help and guidance. Helping people improve their overall wellness has always been more than just a passion for me. Rather, it's always been simply a way of existing in the world.
Most of my clients say how comfortable they felt meeting me, even the first time. One of my clients has told both me and all her her friends that "As soon as I see her walking down the hall smiling at me, I instantly feel so much better."
You, yes YOU have the power to heal yourself. Our bodies are constantly working toward finding balance and this absolutely includes the body/mind connection.
