I started my professional career in the arts, as an actor, dancer and writer in New York City, and took a detour into corporate learning & development when I married and raised a family. Along the way, I discovered Jason Shulman, and the moving and deeply kind modality of healing he has developed. I realized very quickly that stepping into the flow of healing was, in fact, the very same river of creativity, truth, and whole-being connectedness that I felt in the best moments of my life as a performer. It brought up the same eye-watering, tingly open-heartedness that would take me by surprise in the corporate class room, when I knew the penny had dropped for my students, and they had truly grasped whatever concept I was teaching. Their relationship to what they had viewed as an unmoveable problem had fundamentally changed, and what had felt difficult or stuck suddenly became fluid, with space for new possibilities. And I realized that with healing, I didn't have to convince a casting agent that I could do this with someone else's words, or get flashes of this light while I discussed a new expense software - I could enter this beautiful, loving, powerful space just as I was, and in clear relationship with another's heart, directly addressing what was most essentially human in our moment together. This is the fullness, the transformative allowing of all of who we are, that I have felt again and again as I have studied and practiced Nondual Kabbalistic Healing.
The fundamental healing idea in NKH is oneness - we are both separate AND completely connected beings. To feel the fullnes and healing grace of this simultaneous truth, we need to experience ourselves as whole, just as we are, even for a moment. Paradoxically, miraculously, mercifully, the moment our natural human brokeness is met and allowed to exist, just as it is, is a moment we can finally feel whole.
We begin with a diagnostic conversation - we are co-creating a safe, kind, and profound journey towards an intimate awareness of where you are. I then offer a formal healing that lasts about 15 min. - you relax in any way that is comfortable, and I hold the appropriate healing intention for the moment (in person, this can be hands-on). While benefits can be felt after one session, NKH, like therapy, is meant to work over time, as an ever-deepening realtionship between client and healer.
