About meCore Movement System
The Core Movement System is an approach based on mindfulness and movement. The objective is to create a system that helps bring our clients on and off the table and provide a way to integrate what they learn into everyday life. The movements demonstrated help address common discomforts caused by everyday life in a way that is simple to understand, take very little time to accomplish, and your body already has all of the tools to complete them. The Core Movement System was designed through the study of logistics, neuroscience, dance, and infant development. It was driven by the need to create lasting changes in the human body using simple effective movements that can be done in just a few minutes a day. Each movement addresses discomforts brought on by everyday life, such as sitting, typing and the lack of crossing our midline. Using the games we created help demonstrate more simple ways of thinking, movement and goal setting. There are many cases in daily life where we want to create a complex problem out of a very simple one, and we end up getting in our own way.
