My name is Josh Landis. I am a personal trainer, licensed massage therapist, and functional neurologist, my goal is to facilitate healing for clients at whatever level is appropriate, whether that be physical, neurological, emotional, or spiritual.
I am also the founder of Integrated Strength, an online training platform and training system designed to [re]establish a foundation of quality movement, optimize neuro-muscular function, and build strength in the basic foundational movements.
I have a strong passion for helping people discover their full potential to live healthier and happier lives, and I believe that movement plays a very vital role in that endeavor. I believe that disciplined practice and exploration of movement not only aides in physical transformation, but more importantly, it aides in the process of self-discovery and personal growth. It can help us to be honest with ourselves and realize what really matters to us in life. It can push us to our physical and mental limits, and force us to face our fears and weaknesses. It allows us to build the resiliency and strength to go out into the world and enjoy it to the fullest extent.
I've suffered through my fair share of frustrating musculoskeletal injuries and difficulties with being able to do the things I love to do.
Through an ongoing journey of seeking the best training methodologies, therapeutic techniques, and teachers, I have learned much about the human body, the human psyche, and the human spirit.
Through a strength-focused movement practice, I have learned to love and trust my body, the importance of a healthy mind-body connection, and how powerful something like strength training can be not just for improving the form and function of our body, but of everything that makes us uniquely human.
I make it priority to get to know the clients I am working with. Unfortunately, many professionals in the world of healthcare simply see client or patient as a statistic, set of symptoms, or a collection of parts.
I believe that failing to see and understand clients for who they truly are is vital in facilitating their healing process. I have a profound appreciation for how connected everything is, body, mind, and spirit. The integrated nature of my work reflects this.
Everyone has the capacity to heal themselves. My job as a therapist is very simple: to provide therapy and to hold space in a way tat
