About me
About meKat first began her yoga practice for personal healing in the late 1990s. Over the years she has completed multiple yoga teacher trainings, beginning with the Satchidananda Hatha Yoga tradition (Advanced Level 1 Training). She also earned certification in Hot Power Vinyasa after becoming interested in the Bikram and Baptiste methods. In 2011, her personal interest brought her to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga, and in 2011, Kat traveled to Mysore, India to study under Saraswathi at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute. She continues to teach taking inspiration from veins of Hatha, Ashtanga, Ghosh and Jivamukti yoga.
Kat’s personal approach to yoga is a combination of healing, strengthening, and empowering through practice. In her class, you'll experience dynamic flows, detailed instruction of poses, modifications for all levels -from beginners to challenging, and teachings that stem from traditional yoga.
My Philosophy of CareYoga is different for every person and every body. We meet you where you are on the mat.
