Learn More About Eugene Mahoney , LAc, EAMP

About me

I was born in California, spent time in England with my family, and grew up in and call Washington home. I have lived in West and Southwest Seattle for the past 15 years. I graduated from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2016 with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

I’ve had a lifelong interest in natural health and healing. As someone who has struggled with health problems that no one seemed to be able to help with, my eyes were opened by an acupuncturist/herbalist who resolved my issues in just a few treatments. I thought, “This is powerful. I want to help those who may have given up on finding something that can help them.” My husband and family were supportive and encouraged me to pursue my interest in this healing path.

I haven't looked back, the simple truth is I love what I do! This medicine has a profound meaning for me and I believe it can for you too! I want you to feel better and be able to do the things you love.

My theory on wellness is this: Over time our bodies learn to exist at a level of homeostasis that is not exactly optimal, partly because we learn to “live with” or accept certain conditions.

I believe our bodies want to return to optimum health and it’s my job to help remind your body what that means. Acupuncture, bodywork, herbal prescriptions, dietary upgrades, and mindfulness can help bring the body back into balance.

It is my privilege to accompany you on your wellness journey.

I am in-network and accept Premera, Lifewise, Kaiser Permanente PPO, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Washington Coordinated Care Plans, and Triwest.

I happily accept Regence, and Kaiser Permanente HMO but am currently out-of-network.
