I love helping people feel better - body, mind and soul. My purpose is to educate and bring you your own customized therapeutic yoga practice.
Me? Back in 2005, I turned to restorative Yoga to help manage many physical injuries - C6/7 discectomy. As I have aged L5/S1 is bulging. And then of course, life happens bringing the anxiety and grief on....
And then......something happened and I got a glimmer of peace....ahhhhh.... "yoga". Absolutely love my yoga - this is my true calling and passion in life. I insist on teaching with perfection and have a deep therapeutic yoga knowledge base in my teachings. Additionally, I have over 20 years of teaching matt Pilates.
I am a Yoga Therapist. Yoga Therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, life style management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups. This is powerful information and far more than just a physical practice. No previous yoga experience required.
I am 1 of <4k globally attaining a Certification as a Yoga Therapist AND 1 of < 12 in the US that is Certified in Therapeutic Movements & Techniques utilizing Yoga and Pilates for Scoliosis.
Either out of my home studio in Gurnee, IL or virtually I teach one-on-one or group yoga therapeutic sessions of
~ Yoga & Pilates for Scoliosis
~ Yoga for Grief
~ Yoga for Recovery sessions.
As a Yoga Therapist my mission is to support you through the seasons of your life …….. sharing yoga therapy for better health and wholeness, affording it’s benefits, pulse, purification and change. By teaching with creativity and humor, I customize and craft a practice to meet you where you are at with customized self-care tools and skills for a vision of completeness within your being.

My mission in life is to empower my clients with yoga therapy tools for both improved physical and mental health, giving them a sense of well being and peace they didn't deem possible.
