About me

After I had my first child, I went into postpartum thyroiditis and was diagnosed as subclinical hypothyroid. From a traditional medicine standpoint, I was not clinically hypothyroid, but I felt awful. Severe fatigue, cold all the time, hair loss, brain fog, and just simply not feeling well at all.

Slowly but surely, I learned how I grossly underestimated the demands placed on a woman's body during pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and beyond. More so, I began to understand the impact of other areas of our lives on our health that I hadn't considered before.
