About me

About me
I was born and raised in Sarasota and was active in the Sarasota Ski-A-Rees, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Florida West Coast Symphony. My father was a practicing neurologist and step-father a pulmonologist and former chief of staff of both Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Doctor's Hospital of Sarasota. I attended Out-of-Door Academy as well as Pine View School. After graduating Sarasota High School, I attended the University of Florida and double majored in Biomedical Engineering and Spanish. My graduate work was in neuropsychopharmacology and psychobiology.
