I received craniosacral therapy and a massage from Molly. The massage was lovely. Molly knew the exact spots that needed attention. And the craniosacral therapy - well, that blew me away. I went in without any expectations (or knowledge) of what the experience would or should be; and I came out feeling as though I had been through a therapy session - with absolutely no talking! Molly has a calmness and gentleness that puts you at ease. Her intuition and healing nature are tangible. She’s special. Go to her.
Molly’s work is grounded in skillful listening, and is a beautiful balance of depth and patience. As a trauma survivor, I have a hard time receiving massage—specifically deep tissue work—because even when my mind trusts, my body might not necessarily, but Molly’s work starts with listening and attuning, and moves towards depth at a pace my body feels safe with. Her deep tissue work feels like a conversation where she’s really listening, rather than bossing the tissue around and putting it in its place. It is profoundly healing for me as someone who often leaves massages feeling worse because of the way many practitioners mindlessly blow through my areas of tension at a speed that both is painful and makes me dissociate. Molly’s work is incredibly mindful, she pays close attention to what’s going on under her hands, and skillfully releases tension with focus and care. Really high quality work, grounded in compassionate listening.

CST (craniosacral therapy) should not cause headaches. However, someone might experience headache as a result of the changes or shifts that take place in the body after a CST session. Those should naturally resolve and not last longer than a day or two. If you need more insight into what you are feeling after a session, reach out to your practitioner to ask about what might have shifted during the work.
