CranioSacral Therapy
Cranio∼Sacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole∼body health and performance. It was pioneered and developed by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger after years of clinical testing and research at Michigan State University where he served as professor of biomechanics. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams ∼ about the weight of a nickel ∼ practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it”s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Body Work: Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Mayan Abdominal, Trigger Point , Trager Approch, Primal Reflex Release
Therapeutic Massage and Body Work Modalities Offered: Ashiatsu (Barefoot) Massage- Therapist uses their feet to provide deep compression, gliding strokes and assisted stretches. Cupping Therapy/ Gua Sha Massage- During a Cupping session, the therapist puts cups on skin for a few minutes to create suction. Gua Sha is Chinese for “scraping red”. Therapist uses a massage tool to scrap the skin to improve circulation. Both of these ancient Chinese healing techniques offer relief of chronic pain (especially in shoulders, neck & back). Both also release heat and energy from stagnant tissue, help with inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being. Both are usually considered to be a deep tissue modality. Lypossage- Lypossage is a holistic, healthy, non-invasive blend of two massage techniques that detoxifies, contours, and slims the body while reducing the appearance of cellulite. By cleansing the body of toxins, most clients also report increased energy levels and better mental clarity. Mayan Abdominal Massage- This therapy treats digestive & fertility issues. The practitioner addresses the position of the uterus and the problems that can be caused by it being displaced. These techniques can also help alleviate common digestive complaints. Myofascial Release- Technique used for muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood, oxygen, and lymphatic circulation, releasing trigger points that refer pain and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles. Primal Reflex Release Technique- PRRT is a manual-therapy approach for evaluating and relieving musculoskeletal pain. PRRT is often able to release reflex points and relieve pain in a matter of seconds. Trigger Point Therapy/ Neuromuscular- This modality focuses on releasing trigger points, which are small, tight knots that develop in the fascia tissue that cause pain in other areas of the body (an effect known as “referral pain”). Trager- A Trager® session combines tablework and Mentastics® movement, and lasts between one and one-and-a-half hours. Gentle touch and movement create an experience that releases and relaxes emotional states and body tensions and pains. This is why Dr. Trager called his work ‘Psychophysical Integration’. The process of a Trager® session can be seen like a gentle conversation in which we support our client in finding a more comfortable presence in body and mind. From a calm presence, through looking, asking questions and touching, we collect impressions and feelings from the first moment on. These perceptions determine the course of the session, connected to the here and now. Prenatal Massage also offered.

About me

Hello! I am Nicole Warner, the owner of Inner Wisdom Healing Center, LLC.
We are a community of practitioners who offer personalized healing and holistic health to each of our clients. It is our mission to offer support through body work, energy work, and mindfulness. We recognize the importance of healing the mind, the body, and the spirit by offering individualized care that meets the specific needs of our clients . We hope all who enter the Inner Wisdom Healing Center find a safe, inclusive, and peaceful place to seek restoration.

My Philosophy of Care

“I believe every person is created with wisdom, knowledge, and insight to unlock their inner healing. Our subconscious minds are infinitely more powerful than our conscious mind and our bodies are designed to heal themselves. My intention is to offer natural and holistic healing to assist your body and mind to do what it already knows how to do: heal itself. May you be reminded to look within and become more mindful.” Nicole Warner, LMT

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

As soon as clients walk into the office, there is an immediate sense of calm and relaxation. It is a very warm, inviting space, which helps them decompress prior to their treatment. Each practitioner is welcoming and attentive to the needs of each client. We strive to make sure everyone is comfortable the entire time they are here. It is truly a relaxing and rejuvenating experience!

My Inspiration

Nicole's personal journey through pain led her to find her place in a professional community of holistic healers, dedicated to aiding others on their path to physical and emotional wellness. In 2004 she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Through a combination of massage therapy, energy work (primarily muscle testing), nutrition coaching and Spiritual Derection. She found her pain and fatigue diminished with a drive to help the world around her heal as well!
