I work with ambitious professionals to help them overcome hidden barriers to both health and success. What many people don’t realize is challenges such as chronic stress, brain fog, low energy, and stubborn chronic issues frequently have their root in unhealthy foods and unknown inflammatory conditions. I help people tailor their food to their unique biochemical makeup and lifestyle needs so they can feel great, thrive, and do more of what they love.
I’m a functional nutritionist. Functional nutrition is based in the science of functional medicine. The goal is to understand the body through functional lab testing, genetic testing, environmental factors, stress, and lifestyle.
We need to understand the root cause of symptoms and address the root cause, not cover up the symptom(s) with a drug. It’s about doing a bit of detective work and building specific, individualized protocols and programs based on the needs of each client.
Programs Include:
Body Bliss: Lifestyle Design for the Busy Woman - This is an on-demand, self-directed 12-week course. With this course, there are no fads or gimmicks!
Foundational Group Coaching - This is a virtual group setting for goal setting, accountability, action, awareness, and safety.
4 month 1:1 consulting - Intended for those looking to optimize their health.
6 month 1:1 consulting - Intended for those with more complex symptoms and needs.
Continuing Performance - This is a continuation for anyone who has completed either 1:1 program.
My inspiration to become a functional nutritionist was the love of science, the love of life, and the love of the amazing thing we call food! We see food as a way to fill our bellies but it is actually a language - food speaks to our cells and our genes and gives them direction. Healthy food creates a clean line of comunication. Unhealthy foods creates a broken line of communication, then the cells and genes become confused. In time, we have dis-ease.
For my one-to-one consultations, our first visit is a 2-hour consultation. Prior to our appointment, you have completed your analysis which consists of your symptoms, needs, goals, expectations, family history, medical history, personal timeline, food journal, supplements, medications, labs, etc.
We discuss your analysis in detail, discuss labs that have already been run and labs that still need to be run.
We build a program based on your needs, symptoms, and lab results.
If you're looking to understand your body and any symptoms or problems you are experiencing, functional nutrition may be a great place to start to help you dig deep to find answers.
