About me

I have a Master's degree in adult exercise, and I am a certified diabetes care and education specialist and a clinical exercise physiologist. That combination of credentials has made me an expert in reversing type 2 diabetes.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

My clients learn 80% of what they will need to know at the first 60-minute session. It can be a lot of information, but my clients leave the appointment with a goal, with a plan to achieve that goal, and with the confidence they need to succeed.

My Inspiration

Type 2 diabetes is a temporary condition that is diagnosed when your blood glucose is too high. When you remove the things that are raising blood glucose and glucose comes back to normal ranges, you don't have type 2 diabetes any more. It's that simple.

Start with a plant-based diet and add regular exercise. That should do it. In most cases, it's the food that's driving the blood pressure and cholesterol into dangerous territory. By removing the the guilty foods and by adding exercise, you remove the cause of most chronic diseases that are common in our country.

You're smart to want to keep your blood glucose in control. To answer your questions... 1. Only eat in the morning if you are hungry. Intermittent fasting is a great way to lower blood sugar long-term. 2. Yes. Eat fresh fruit. There's no limit on fruit. 3. Meat contributes to high blood glucose. 4. Yes, exercise. It is natural insulin meaning that it lowers blood glucose. 5. Running and lifting are great exercises.
