My name is Evan Purcell. In August of 2018, I weighed 423 pounds, and my health was out of control. I had type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. Start with a plant-based diet and add regular exercise. That should do it. In most cases, it's the food that's driving the blood pressure and cholesterol into dangerous territory. By removing the the guilty foods and by adding exercise, you remove the cause of most chronic diseases that are common in our country.

You're smart to want to keep your blood glucose in control. To answer your questions... 1. Only eat in the morning if you are hungry. Intermittent fasting is a great way to lower blood sugar long-term. 2. Yes. Eat fresh fruit. There's no limit on fruit. 3. Meat contributes to high blood glucose. 4. Yes, exercise. It is natural insulin meaning that it lowers blood glucose. 5. Running and lifting are great exercises.
