As a holistic bodyworker, I see the body as a whole through the lens of biotensegrity as well as how the mental, emotional, and spiritual layers interface with your human experience.
I am a Colorado native, outdoor enthusiast, anatomy nerd, and athlete. I am a 2017 undergraduate of UCCS with a B.S in Health Sciences, focus in Health and Wellness Promotion, and Nutrition minor. My journey into holistic healthcare began at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT) where I graduated as a licensed massage therapist and obtained my neuromuscular therapy certification in 2019. Fast-forward 2 years and I have completed certifications in craniosacral, lymphatic drainage, cupping, Thai Yoga, and hot stone, as well as my Reiki Master training and attunement. I also received herbal medicine training and I use this knowledge to make my own salves, oils, and lotions for my client's treatment depending on the needs of the client.
I was an anatomy lab teaching assistant in college and continue to pursue and share my passion for anatomy with others through teaching at CIMT and as a cadaver dissection assistant at the Institute for Anatomical Research. I currently own and operate my LLC, Holisticare Bodyworks, and have worked for a few medical facilities in Colorado Springs, including chiropractic, physical therapist, and Osteopathic Doctor offices.
The Wim Hof method has been a cornerstone of sparking my inner fire through the cold training, breathing techniques, and exercises it teaches. One of my core beliefs is that we are more powerful than we have been told to believe, and I love challenging myself and showing others what they are truly capable of.
I see it as an honor and a privilege to be able to facilitate healing and positive change in the health and wellbeing of others. My various skillsets and trainings allow me to integrate a more holistic and individualized approach to each client depending on their needs. I charge by time and not by type of service because I believe each service is equally valuable and it allows me to use more than one modality in each session to address the various needs of the client without financial confusion.
On the first visit, I will evaluate your health history, postural analysis, joint range of motion, address any mental/emotional concerns if any, and discuss any other primary issues that brought you into my clinic. After I gain a better understanding of your needs, I will explain my treatment plan and the modalities I think will yield better results. After we both agree on a treatment plan, I will begin the treatment and adjust my placement and pressure according to what I palpate and visualize.
My passion for the human anatomy and its ability to express and heal itself in many ways was my initial inspiration for becoming a healer. The complexity of the layers of our being, mind, body, and spirit, are what continue to fascinate me and help me grow as a person and as a practitioner. As we continue to evolve, it becomes clear that traumas, whether emotional or physical, can prevent us from becoming our greatest potential. My goal is to remind others they are perfect and whole as they are!
