Saara came to our hair salon, Planet Laboratories. We thoroughly enjoyed having her with us. She was expert at giving us information relevant to our profession! Since we need to be fully fit to be able to do our jobs while standing all day, she was able to cater to our needs perfectly. Saara did an amazing job introducing us to some easy, healthy stretches that we can do during the day without getting on the (hairy) floor or sweating (messing up our makeup!) She has such a charming, fun personality and is extremely knowledgeable in her field. Some of us have already reached out to her to get some personal coaching from her. We can’t wait to work more with her!
Saara is the best personal trainer I have worked with. She listens to you and what your body needs. She has a superior knowledge of the body and provides corrective support to injured joints. It's like having a PT and trainer in one. If you have any issues in your body, she will not have you do anything that would injure you, instead provides the therapeutic work. I have been injured by personal trainers not listening to me and I found Saara to be the exact opposite. She is supportive while also pushing me to achieve my goals. I enjoy what she provides as a diverse, integrative, workout, so I do it more. I highly recommend her services and her positve, caring, energy is great too!

About me

My goal is to help you live your best life, and to transform your life using fun, sustainable practices. We work together to discover how to make small tiny changes in your life that end up in huge long-term results. I'll teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle by focusing on being 1% better everyday.
We won't be doing diets or other trendy nonsense. I have a BS in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, a Master's and PhD (May 2022) in Sports and Exercise Psychology, I've been studying this for 19 years, and coaching humans for 22 years.
I do what works; we work on your mind and your body- making physical and psychological changes. We train your brain to think differently so you can FINALLY change your life.
I'm the coach for you if:
* You are ready for real change and are open to getting out of your comfort zone and doing something different.
* Looking for a long term solution and are sick of being tired and feeling like crap.
* Know you want to change your lifestyle but you don’t know where to start or what to do.
* Want to feel stronger, both in your body and mind.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

After our initial interview, if you decide to work with me we will have our first transformational coaching session. I'll get an understanding of your current lifestyle and we will try to find the "domino" that will make everything else easier. Working with me 1-on-1 is a 6-month min. commitment because life change doesn't happen overnight. I use the science based psychobiosocial model to get a holistic perspective of your overall wellness to guide my practice.

My Inspiration

Growing up my family was not the picture of health that I wanted, so even though I didn't really know what I wanted to do, I knew I wanted to study Kinesiology & Health promotion (Psychology minor). I thought if I could gain an understanding of health, I would never end up like them and I could help them get healthier. As a few of my professors and colleagues have said, helping your family is the hardest thing you'll ever try to do. So I help hundreds of others change their lives instead 😀👊.
