About me
About me
I was a database programmer when I attended my first yoga class. I was stressed out and had pain in my lower back and knees. I fell in love with yoga the first class and appreciated the benefits of breathing deeper, feeling and sleeping better. I practiced yoga for 9 years prior to joining the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) at Yoga Gem in Montgomery, AL. I graduated in 2015 and started to teach at Yoga Gem a couple months afterwards. I am still teaching there and started my own business, Straight Up Yoga LLC in 2020.
