About me
About me
I am an American Zen Monk living on Kauai Island as the Zen Buddhist Priest of Zenshuji Soto Zen Temple. My ordination was in 2013, nine months after my youngest daughter made her way into the world. It was also two months after I resigned from my career, returned my cell phone, gave up my company apartment, and dropped off my company car.
Although this all felt very sudden at the time, looking back I had started this journey of study, practice and meditation over twenty years earlier.
