Stacy has been instrumental in my health journey. I’ve been told by many of my physicians over the last 20 years, yoga helps with stress, anxiety, flexibility, and does wonders for folks with back injuries. However, coming from an adrenaline junkie, yoga never clicked for me as I felt I wasn’t getting a workout, or the much needed outlet like I did with other sports. When I began yoga with Stacy, I could hardly sit on the floor without shaking with pain and weakness. Stacy listened carefully when learning my health history and current issues, and prepared her session with me in advanced. With each session she explained to me what she chose for us to work on that day, and why. Stacy continued to customize each session to my needs. Over a course of a few months, I can say this with 100% certainty, “Stacy is a healer.” She is more than a yoga instructor, she truly cares for the well being of all her clients. After surviving a near fatal accident in February 2018, which changed my life indefinitely, Stacy was able to not only teach me how to breathe through the pain, she also helped me recover the hidden memory of the accident, releasing severe trauma from my body and mind. I recommend Stacy to any client who simply wants to become more flexible and grounded for the day, or someone who has severe pain, anxiety, and stress, who would like to learn techniques for life.
I love Stacy! She's been my Yogi for several months and she's helped me with chronic pain issues, anxiety, restlessness, and after workout stretching. She's helped my connect to my spirit through lighting up my Chakras and meditation. Stacy works with each individual to make sure they achieve their goals while keeping them comfortable and at ease the entire time. We've worked virtually and I could not be happier! In fact, Stacy made such a huge impression on me, that I am now studying to become a yogi! You cannot go wrong with this beautiful soul!
Stacy has been my Yoga instructor for two months. She has such a calmness about her and such a kind personality. I came to Stacy because she listened what I wanted to accomplish in Yoga and also my concerns. I have osteoporosis and she tailored the Yoga classes to my needs and she was very thorough when explaining each pose and how it would help my bones and build muscle. That was very important for me because I needed someone who understood my needs so I would not do damage to my bones. My experience with Stacy has been very positive and she has put in the time to research the best plan of care for me. I couldn’t ask for more from an instructor, she truly has a passion for teaching Yoga!

Learn More About Stacy Peacock

About me

I've been doing Yoga for well over 25 years. I suffered from debilitating panic attacks and PTSD for roughly 16 years. I couldn't drive my car, I freaked out at the grocery store. It completely took my life away from me. I was medicated, I went to therapy. Yet I still suffered. That was until I got control of my mind. Our minds can be our worst enemy. That anxiety manifests itself in our bodies. Tension, tightness, chronic pain. I have been through all of it.

If you are currently going through what I went through. I want you to know, I understand it, I get it, it's terrifying. My gift is calmness, empathy, understanding and guided meditations.

We work through the pain using Yin. Elongating those muscles and releasing the areas where you are carrying most of your anxiety. We can also do Restorative. Which is a beautiful practice. Very little movement. I would have to say it's like pressing a reset button. You come in, your mind is busy, you're feeling stressed. This perfect practice for those who need to make times for themselves.

We must honor ourselves. We do everything for everyone else. Ask yourself, what am I doing for me? If you don't take care of yourself, it's hard to take care of others because your mental and emotional energy is depleted.

I am here to help you honor yourself. I can help you with past and current issues. However, I am just a guide. As the path is yours to take.

My Philosophy of Care

I have always been a healer my whole life. I'm able to connect with people on a deeper level. People are attracted to me because of my positivity, my empathy. I've had this gift my entire life, I might as well put it to good use. So here I am.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

This would depend upon the client. Some I give them Yin or Vinyasa. The others, some may break down in tears. That is not only fine with me, but a good process to release your emotions that are affecting you mentally and physically. I will continue to teach and you can release as many emotions as you want. What happens on the mat, stays on the mat.

I also put people to sleep with my guided meditations. Sometimes for long periods of time. I do ask my students ahead of time if they want me to leave them there, or try and bring them out. Sometimes I can't bring them out. I'm just letting you know ahead of time. I recommend if you want to work with me, to not have a busy schedule after. Or you can set an alarm on your phone that will wake you up if I can't. I am walking Xanax.

My Inspiration

Yoga is many things. It is a moving meditation. Depending on which modality you chose. Vinyasa is a flowing Yoga and is great for strength, blood circulation, prana (your breath) and depending upon who your teacher is, it's really good work out. If you are new to Yoga, make sure you take a beginners class.

Yin, rebuilds the fascia in our bodies. You hold the poses for a longer duration. Yin is a quiet practice. Some people look at Yin and think, that practice is too slow for me. When I'm done with you, your going to feel it. Yin is excellent for flexibility and mobility. It can also help slow down the aging process in your body by using your reserve cells to rebuild your fascia. Fascia encases everything in your body. Your organs, your muscles, your heart. Fascia is everywhere inside your body. Yin reminds the fascia that it's got a job to do.

Restorative is a very calming practice. It's your reset. There are very few movements and you stay in those movements for sometime. It's like you're sleeping but you're awake at the same time. It truly is a beautiful, calming, rejuvenating practice.

Possibly. We have a body mind connection. So it depends on what you're dealing with. We carry many trapped emotions we are unaware of. So our conscious mind tells us everything is okay. Our subconscious mind tells us, no. You're not okay. So if your pain was caused by an accident. For example slipping in the bathroom and cracking your patella (I'm saying this because it happened to me), this is a real problem caused by an accident. My knee got scoped and they pull out the broken shards. Now my knee is go to know and I'm back in Yoga. Hang in here with me. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life. Mental, emotional, verbal abuse. When these memories and people cross my path my neck goes into a spasm, cutting off my blood and oxygen flow to my brain. Giving me debilitating headaches and dizziness. If you believe your pain is due to trauma, and not falling in your bathroom. Then yes, hypnosis may be able to help you. I've done it twice now and I came out feeling no pain. This is where things get tricky. If it's emotional, mental, verbal or physical abuse. It will be hard for you to let go of that pain, as long at that trigger is still in your life.

Molecular hydrogen fights free radicals in your body and protects your cells from the effects of oxidative stress. There have been studies done, where it shows hydrogen water experienced decreased levels of hydroperoxide which is a marker of oxidative stress. Some research shows that hydrogen water may be effective at reducing markers of oxidative stress and improving risk factors related to metabolic syndrome. It can reduce your bad cholesterol and increase your good cholesterol. Also, It's great for athletes. It can reduce your blood lactate, and decrease muscle fatigue. Though some research on the health effects of hydrogen water shows positive results, larger and longer studies are needed before conclusions can be drawn. It has been approved by the FDA, and not shown to cause harm.
