About me

"About Sutton Counseling Services

At Sutton Counseling Services, we are passionate about providing exceptional mental health care to children and adolescents. Founded in 2007 by Don and Patricia Sutton, our practice initially focused on serving youth in the foster care system and those adopted through state foster care. Over the years, we have expanded our team to include seven highly skilled mental health specialists, each bringing unique expertise to our practice.

Our diverse group of licensed professionals includes Clinical Mental Health, Marriage and Family, and Clinical Social Work therapists, as well as a PhD in Child Psychology for testing and diagnostics and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for medication management. We pride ourselves on utilizing evidence-based practices such as EMDR, ART, and neurofeedback to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Our philosophy of care is simple: we are here to help. As ""helping professionals,"" we find great satisfaction in witnessing the positive changes in our clients' lives. We understand that seeking help can be stressful, but we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can feel validated and cared for from the moment you walk through our doors.

We believe that the therapeutic process requires hard work and dedication, but the results are worth every second.
