About me
About me
Born in Los Angeles to loving traditional Japanese immigrant parents, my conditioning included strong beliefs in social conformity, suppressed emotional expression, and lack of self-worth cleverly masked by humility. There was a ton of love in my family, but I always felt like the calling in my heart wasn't fully aligned with my external experience. I grew up feeling misunderstood and extremely curious about who I was and my purpose in this world. Highly influenced by other people and my environment, I spent much of my life drifting under the spell of my false self.
