Learn More About Terry Lynn Talbot

About me

I love energy medicine and the belief each individual has their own power to heal. I just retired from nursing and pharmacy and was in the traditional medical system for over 40 years. I am available to provide individualized health care education and coaching to empower clients to reach their health care goals. I have stepped outside the traditional medical model to explore underlying causes of disease and exploring alternatives. I have studied Young Living therapeutic grade essential oils and have used these for over 15 years to improve health and support emotions for both humans and animals. I went to Guayaquil, Ecuador at the Nova Vita Center to study Raindrop Therapy. I currently teach Yoga at several yoga studios . My focus on teaching Yoga is to improve physical, mental and spiritual well-being. I completed a two year Equine Gestalt Coaching Program. This is a unique program partnering with the horse to promote emotional healing. No horse experience is necessary, through experiential interaction horses assist you in clearing the energy that has been holding you back from your best self.

My Philosophy of Care

I have always been a caregiver for family, friends and animals. As I spent years with horses I realized how much they provided healing form my own unfinished business. This inspired me to also share with others.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

My Inspiration

It is an experience of being in the present moment and developing awareness.

Hi My answer is Yoga! I recommend very slow yoga stretches and holding for a number of breaths. Movements are determined by muscle, tendons, and ligaments. Yoga helps build muscle tone and improves tendon and ligament flexibility. This should be a slow process so one does not stretch tendons or ligaments beyond their normal length. I have gentle yoga classes at Yoga West in Grand Junction. If you are familiar with yoga or you could google: Marichyasana I or Marichyasana III, Adho Mukah Svanasana (Down Dog) , Supta Padangusthasana (specific for ham strings) or get a beginning yoga DVD from the library and go slow and hold. There are many reasons to practice yoga, it helps physical health and vitality, relief from pain and emotional strength in hard times. Namaste !

Hi One suggestion would be therapeutic grade essential oils. Each oil is a mosaics of hundreds of compounds and have many healing benefits. Many of the cheaper oils have been adulterated or extended with synthetic chemicals. I became introduced to the oils about 20 years ago as I received a Raindrop treatment for my back pain due to my scoliosis. It helped and I have been using them ever since for many health issues. Even though I am a pharmacist I turn to my oils first. I also had a horse who developed a severe neurological problem and he could not even get up from the ground without my help. I started Raindrop treatments on my gelding. He survived another 8 months and was able to run and get up without assistance until Winter came along. Raindrop is a series of applications of the following oils: Valor, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram and Peppermint. Essential oils that help with damage nerves are: Juniper, Goldenrod, Lemongrass, Peppermint, and Helichrysum. These are some of a few that can help promote healing. Best of luck for a full recovery.
