Truly intuitive and understanding of all things wellness!
I suffered in pain for 20 plus years. I did surgeries and sought out doctors for most of those years. It wasn't until I came to dragon Phoenix that I began to enjoy life again. The pain that was a constant 7 out of 10 that raised to nine and more daily that is now less than I have known in 20 years. I did do accupucture in the past, but this woman does her practice to help heal others and is definitely different somehow in a very positive way!!!! You owe it to yourself to come her!!!

About me

In 1995, Sharon discovered the wonders of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After battling persistent headaches for 14 months, she sought the help of a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. Thanks to the use of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, Sharon’s headaches were alleviated and she became a believer. What’s more, the holistic treatment helped her restore balance to her entire body alleviating her allergies, fatigue, and premenstrual syndrome. Seeing firsthand the miracles of TCM, Sharon went back to school and earned her Master of Science degree in TCM as well as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Now in the 20th year of her career, she continues to enjoy helping others with these amazing therapies.

My Philosophy of Care

When the traditional medical treatment fell short, I had to look outside the box, and discovered that there was another way of healing. It was the realization that I, and every other human being, has the power to heal within us. That's when I decided to become a health facilitator. I wanted to help others tap into that power.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

How do my clients describe their first visit?

"Thorough!" I spend time listening and asking questions. I want the full picture. Finding the root of the issue can often be found in the smallest clue.

"I see now!" I like to share some education with my clients as well. I'd like to think that they come away with a little more clarity on how their body works and what they can control to restore it to vibrant health.

My Inspiration

It can change your life. The acupuncture can immediately shift that which is stuck, and send you into a state of deep relaxation. That's when the magic happens! Chinese herbal medicine works on a systemic level to help redefine the interior landscape and restore your health. Together, they are a powerful way to heal the body, mind and spirit!

Questions & Answers

Sharon Shuppert, L.Ac., DOM Answers
I would think that a holistic practitioner could be beneficial for you. An in depth evaluation can help reveal why you cannot sit for normal periods of time. Are you in pain? Are you "antsy"? More information can help you get the answers for which you seek.

Anxiety can slip up on us. Being aware of our bodies and the feedback they continually give us is the best way to catch early cues to an anxiety attack. Some signs can be increased heart rate, dry mouth, mental fog or flushing, such as a hot flash. At the first warning sign, stop, literally think, "Stop". Take a very slow-deep 4 count and hold for a count of 4. Slowly release the breath for 4 counts and then pause for 4 counts before repeating. Do 4 cycles of this 4 count breath. Focus on the breath. This will stop the fight or flight response and give you a "reset" before you consider the trigger. Continue breathing deeply as you think about what brought on the anxiety. Often, the trigger wasn't worth the response and can be addressed constructively. Catching anxiety before it takes over will become easier with time and they will occur less often. Taking up QiGong, yoga, and meditation can help you connect to your calm so it's there, on call, when you need it.
