I treat clients with chronic and mysterious situations - not just to heal them, but to empower them to really live life in excellence!
I'm a very laid back guy - everything is fine, all the time.
I've been around long enough to see all kinds of crazy things work out and enjoy helping people navigate those crazy things. Mostly these days I focus on health and fitness. Most of my clients are performance driven - athletes, entrepreneurs, and people with hopes and dreams of all kinds. I don't usually retain clients who aren't committed. I am not real keen on repeating the same old patterns - My clients reach their goals, period. Not because they (or I) are forceful, driving people... but once a few missing pieces are found, a few mysterious solved, things start to click and whirr. It's beautiful. Everything is easy once everything comes together, I help people bring it all together.
Hence, I'm an easy going dude. Gotta keep it real.
My health and fitness journey took a long and winding road - chronic pain, mental health, mysterious digestive and other problems...
Sports injuries in high school led to construction injuries after high school. I left construction and became an EMT, and worked as a pharmacy tech while going to school for massage therapy. Ohio's laws are weird so I became a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist to expand my scope of practice and help clients go from being injured or burnt out to being healthy and fit.
As a massage therapist I noticed lots of patterns. I began with a structural, mechanical view of health and fitness. But as I learned orthopedic and myofascial release techniques the patterns stopped making sense. So I zoomed in and out a lot. I studied craniosacral therapy and lymphatic therapy. I could treat people nobody else could help, but the more I treated the less I understood how results were achieved.
So I studied acupuncture, medical qi gong, and pranic healing among other things. I began incorporating other tools into my work such cupping, guasha and IASTM, and the big crowd favorite - frequency specific micro current.
I guess you could say I'm in it for the everyday miracles. Nothing inspires me faster than a new client, a new mystery, a new challenge. Physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. I like being the guy people go to when they can't find answers or relief.
I haven't met somebody I couldn't help. Not everybody gets amazing or permanent results, but most people seem to feel much, much better - even if they can't explain how or why.
So I'm excited to meet you, get to know you, and see how I can help you not just resolve a particular challenge... but to really live life to the fullest!
"Not what I expected!"
Treatment types usually all happen at the same time. Acupuncture might be applied to one part of the body, frequency specific micro current to another, manual therapy to another spot, etc, all at once. It just depends on what you're there for, each treatment is customized for each person, day by day, right from the beginning.
The massage technique is slower and gentler. It doesn't usually "feel good" it usually feels like nothing... but that's just it, the problem just goes away, so there's nothing to feel, thankfully. But there's no "it hurts so good" for most people. Hurts so good only happens down the road, in specific instances, when the best methods are insufficient. This is rare, but does happen.
2+2 = 10 instead of 4. Achieving your goals can be so much faster and easier than you realize! Any one approach to healing can be effective when applied skillfully - but the skillful application of many healing techniques at the same time changes everything. Let's achieve your goals!
