My personal experience and the observations I made during my 20 years in corporate settings tell me there are many people who have high-pressure careers that tend to de-rail any healthy habits and choices you committed to. From the food you eat to the exercise you get (or don't get) - there are options for you to get healthy and stay that way even under the high demands on your time and attention. I have amassed a ton of knowrledge through my studies in holistic nutrition as well as at the Health Coach Institute (HCI) earning my Coaching Certifications. I am positioned to help you achieve your health and life goals because I've been where you are, and came out on the other side - with my health and sanity in check!
From the time I was a early teen -a gymnast, dancer, runner - I was always interested in how to achieve my best performance using nutrition, herbs and supplements. I studied books, literature and periodicals to glean facts from research and scientifically proven research. Times have changed, and as such, best practice around nutrition, supplementation and general health have changed as well - for example, we have learned from that "fat-free" craze of the 90s does not improve health, and remaining in a constant state of ketosis is not sustainable for immunity and nutrition, and in reality there are many diets out there. As time has passed I have kept apprised of new and updated studies around nutrition and physical health, so I offer those resources to my clients so I can guide you to optimum nutrition while keeping your lifestyle and food choices in tact.
On the first visit, which is my initial Breakthrough session, I ask questions to ascertain their desired outcomes, learn what is preventing them from accomplishing them, and helping them uncover issues that might be keeping them stuck. I employ some NLP techniques to help them imagine the difference it would make in their life if they were to accomplish these goals.
I outline the 90-day journey, describing the details around what makes it different and what to expect. Together we determine if there is rapport, a good fit and whether or not they want to start the transformation. Most visits are conducted on Zoom, although some clients phone calls. Both are equally effective.
Some people believe that coaching is having someone tell them what to do, what to eat and then monitoring their progress. While I am certainly able to help you decide what to eat, we do so by using your body chemistry to decide what those foods might be. When it comes to eating plans, one size does not fit all. We work together to choose the right kind of movement so you'll be motivated to stay the course. Overall, coaching is about providing you with relevant information, helpful tools and valuable resources. I will show you the right steps in the right order, techniques to keep you moving towards your goal, and the support and accountability you need to achieve those outcomes. It is your journey -I am the guide. My coaching program will transform you - from someone who wants to be different to one who has changed- adopted new habits and rituals.
