About me
About meI have been a caregiver since childhood when my maternal grandmother moved into our family's dining room when she became too sick to live alone. As a life-long caregiver, I recognized when my parents started aging and really began needing help so I moved from Virginia to North Carolina to be closer to them. Ultimately, I was their primary full-time caregiver until their passings. This led to friends requesting my help with their own aging parents since I "knew what to do and how to help parents". In May 2019, I received my end-of-life doula certificate, I passed my national proficiency exams, and I opened my business, Strong Loving Care, LLC.
My Philosophy of CareCaring full-time for my mother through lung cancer and for my father through many years of dementia.
