About me

I work with people to unwind unconscious belief systems that may be holding them back to help them unlock their full potential. It's amazing to see when people have the right tools, whether that's nutritional or emotional, how much easier it is to break unwanted habits and create new and improved ones!

One of my specialties is working with anxiety, worry, or stress, at whatever level someone experiences it. Whether it's a fear-gripping phobia, social anxiety, or even low-level worries that get in the way of someone's experience of life, learning to manage these feelings, while building a greater sense confidence can be life-changing.

Another of my passions is digestive wellness. I work with clients to help them understand which foods and natural supplements support optimal digestion, along with which to eliminate or minimize. I'm fascinated by the brain-gut connection and have found that hypnosis and other de-stressing techniques can be instrumental in improving digestion. I've done a special training in "Hypnotherapy for IBS" and am constantly learning new techniques and suggestions for improving gut-function. After all, proper digestion is the cornerstone to good health; when our bellies are happy, so are our brains :-)

Yes, stress can certainly play a part in it. Some other common causes of bloating are small bacterial overgrowth, candida, or simply an imbalance of bacteria often caused by too much in the way of sugar & processed carbs. It's helpful to get a more complete picture of what you're eating for breakfast, how much alcohol you're drinking the night before, etc. before recommending specific things like enzymes, probiotics, or other natural things to help you digest better & relieve some of the bloating. Yes, getting some aerobic exercise in the am, whether that's running or even dancing & doing jumping jacks, followed by a shower, can help clear brain fog. As far as what to avoid, sugar has already been mentioned, but I'd add gluten to the list of things that can contribute a lot to brain fog. With that, comes alcohol since so many alcohols are wheat-based. Also, all alcohols have sugars, causing a spike in insulin which impairs brain function over time.
