Muslim Wife and Mom of 4, Naturopathic Doctor turned Islamic Lifestyle Coach

Sister Akilah reverted to Sunni Islam at the age of 33 just after the birth (emergency C-section) of her 3rd daughter.

After fasting her first real Ramadan, she made up 10 of her missed fasts before the end of Shawwal, while tandem nursing her 2.5-yr-old and 13-mo-old daughters.

It was also during this special Ramadan that she joined her first sisterhood Qur'an circle, found her first Qur'an teacher to learn proper tajweed, and reinstated her business after recovering from burnout.

Sister Akilah is the passion, conviction, and devotion behind what may become one of the most impactful Muslim female coaching endeavors, Insha'Allah.

She’s on a mission to help practicing Muslim mothers make up their missed Ramadan fasts without feeling overwhelmed or procrastinating due to perfectionism (fear of failure)...

— in order to draw closer to Allah, experience the barakah of Ramadan again, and receive the blessings He has already written for them in this world and in the hereafter.

She's grateful to Allah for the experiences that led her to create the Ramadan Qada Sisterhood Program, and she has faith that it will be a Sadaqah Jariyah for her, Insha'Allah!
