A few years ago, I was blessed to be able to work with a lady who had a stroke two years before I was asked to help her. I phoned her, and since she had a right-side stroke, her voice was okay. Two years previous to my intervention, the medical doctors and therapists told her she would be bedridden for the rest of her life. She was depressed when I talked to her she was taking psychotropic drugs for depression. I asked her if that was the future she wanted, and she said it was not. She wanted to be able to walk and get out of bed. We talked for a while, and she was amenable to help but wanted two sessions each week instead of the one I had suggested. That was in September. In December she called to tell me she had a present for me. When I told her to give it to me, she reported she had taken three steps in physical therapy, and on our next appointment, she said to me she was continuing to take steps. Her niece gave me a great review to post on my website, and I have reposted it here:

"My family's experience with Jim Macy was nothing short of miraculous. I reached out to Jim Macy on a whim, out of options with my aunt, who was bed-ridden due to a stroke. In under a year, Jim not only got my aunt out of severe depression (she is now off meds), but she has recently taken her first steps in two years as a result of working with him. I can't speak highly enough of this practice... Jim has been a beacon of hope for my family and involved himself in the well-being of my aunt on such a level that he has changed her life immeasurably. I hope that anyone reading this is comforted in knowing that there is hope for whatever you're going through and Jim Macy can help." ~ Haley M. Hollywood CA
