Is Jungian psychotherapy better than Freudian psychotherapy?

I wouldn't say either is "better." However, based on what you are looking for, one may be more appropriate. I am trained in Transpersonal Psychology , which is Jungian based. Why I chose that route is Jungian psychology views the person through a lens of wholeness as opposed to parts. Jung also explored the collective unconscious as well as our dream state. I have gained tremendous insight studying Jungian psychology due to it's holistic approach. For me, Freudian psychology is similar to the "medical model" and Jungian psychology is similar to the "holistic model."
