Is it dangerous to be adjusting (cracking) my own neck and back on a regular basis?

Dr. Benjamin Ryan

As a chiropractor, I often tell my own patients this is not a good idea.
Even though you may feel better for a moment over time, this action is usually causing more problems.

Often times, the vertebra above or below the one that "pops" is actually stuck, and the one that is popping is moving even more with time, causing more joint issues over time.

Many of my own patients after getting adjusted often state back they no longer have the need or desire to "pop" on their own.
