There are so many different types of yoga to practice! The first step is finding out what they are interested in and what they feel comfortable with. Many yoga practices involve getting onto the ground; if that isn't realistic for your grandparents I recommend chair yoga. It is a safe and effective way to build strength, increase mobility, and focus on breathing and posture. Another option is yin yoga or restorative yoga. These involve more prolonged holds and utilize props to help support the body in the various positions. A great place to start is having a yoga instructor that is understanding and comfortable working with on older population and can cater the class to their goals and needs. I am a physical therapist and a yoga teacher in Denver, CO but I also do private Zoom yoga classes - I am happy to consult! :)
