Transforming the way you feel

Hi Amanda, Craniosacrsal therapy can be very helpful for anxiety. Craniosacral therapy can sedate the nervous system and create a sense of tranquility during the session. Of course, I have had many of my clients say that they leave more relaxed and calm then when they came in. Of course if there are emotional traumas in your life, this could compliment treatment from a psychologist.

I help women go from fatigued, stressed out, bloated and moody to calm and vibrant with a deep sense of confidence as they journey through perimenopause to menopause.

Hi Amanda, In my 20 years of practice I have seen Craniosacral be very helpful with anxiety. It helps to rebalance the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system allowing the body to access a more calm state. Finding the underlying root causes is another important factor in alleviating symptoms. One big root cause that can be easily supported is low blood sugar. Make sure you are eating often and not going long hours with out some fat or protein. Small frequent meals can help if the anxiety is stemming from reactive hypoglycemia (ie low blood sugar) I hope this helps and you can find some ease. Have a beautiful week!

Noticing things getting in the way of being your best self for the clients you serve.

Hi, Amanda. Susan's answer covers the benefits beautifully and thoroughly. Karise brings up an important point, in my opinion--underlying causes. I see Craniosacral therapists using more verbal skills during sessions to help bring these into the session--somatic experiencing, for example.

Craniosacral and EFT Tapping are my top two recommendations for immediate relief from anxiety, as well as addressing underlying patterns to make more permanent changes.

Best to you,

Deanna

A light touch healing used with crystals and aromatherapy, provides a gentle, deep approach quieting the mind, relaxing the body, settling the nervous system, opening the heart for greater well-being.

Hi Amanda,

CranioSacral Therapy can help anxiety by calming the whole body and nervous system. By providing a safe environment for the body to address the stress and tension that accumulates with daily life or even traumatic events, the anxiety can be alleviated. The gentle whole body treatment is non-invasive and assists the body in returning to a state of balance. CranioSacral Therapy gently relaxes the body while effecting the body deeply, quieting the mind, settling the nervous system, and opening the heart. This subtle, gentle healing process can help you feel better with the release of deep tension, alleviating the pain of the body or the spirit, improving your whole body health and performance, allowing for renewed balance.

Sincerely hopeful,
Susan Brooks

Hello Amanda,

Over the past 5 years that I have been doing CranioSacral Therapy, my clients have related to me that they have a sense of calm after treatment. Many of them fall into a deep restorative sleep as I work on them. I have seen that those who come in for continued treatment are able retain that sense of wellbeing.

Also, there could be many factors causing anxiety. My husband, Dr. Fred, who is a Health Coach, looks for these factors. One thing he does is evaluate sleep. There are dietery and chemical culprits as well. He is able to evaluate clients using blood tests and other types of lab tests if the situation calls for it.

Hope this helps,

Karise Lewin, LMT
