The Bowenwork Technique (BWT) is a powerful and effective technique that can ease muscle aches & pain by affecting the Central & Automatic Nervous systems.
About 80 percent of the world will suffer from lower back pain (LBP) at some point in their lives andis also the world's largest cause of disability.
The main objective of BWT is to remove the pain and dysfunctional physioiogical conditions by restoring the structural integrity of the body. BWT helps your body reintegrate on many levels, which allows you to begin to function normally again without pain.
LBP can be caused by impact injuries but most LBP is a manifestation resulting from systemic imbalances that have been in place for a long period of time and has finally become painful. Many approaches such as medications etc. may help relieve the pain temporally but do not in most instances resolve the cause of the pain. These approaches may offer you some temporary relief, sometimes this is needed. At least temporally.
The BWT methods is one of several natural approaches that can accomplish remarkably effective musculoskeletal methods that have changed the lives of millions of LBP suffers around the world since it began in the 1950's and came to the USA in the 90's. We brought it to Abilene Texas in 2001 and have seen results not only in LBP but many other problems. BWT is a whole-body method and therefore helps all parts of the body to return to normal.
Some of things that BWT can help with:
- Low Back Pain, Upper Back Pain, Sciatica, Neck Pain
- TMJ, Carpal Tunnel, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist
- Hip Pain, Leg Pain, Hamstring Tension, Ankle & Foot Pain
- Fibromyalgia, Digestion, Elimination
Not only is LBP often the result of structural integrity but many other problems that we have are not always just the area where we have pain but other parts of the body are often involved. Therefore, the BWT is a whole-body technique. Sessions may last from 45 minutes to as much as 2 hours in some of the more chronic problems.
You may see several things changing and resolving, such as pelvic misalignment often affects the LBP, hamstring tension, uneven leg lengths, sometimes digestion, elimination may be affected. I have seen clients who have had problems resolve that they had forgotten to mention. BWT being a very relaxing session it will relieve stress, trauma etc. We invite you to contact us for more information and we can evaluate your condition and let you know if the BWT is capable of helping you resolve your situation.
